Operations Delivery Driver: Los Angeles, CA
We are seeking a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious Operations Delivery Driver to join our team. This role will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for washing, delivery, and collection of cups. This role will use r.World’s 16ft box truck and it’s hydraulic liftgate to pick up and transport reusable cups and serve ware between r.World’s wash hub and our customers’ facilities.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform order deliveries and collections using company box truck; log time and miles, refuel and clean vehicle, regularly inspect truck, and report road incidents.
- Load and unload cups into the truck, customer venues, and wash hub.
Work closely with the Operations Director to execute daily delivery and pickup plans. - Represent r.World in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations
- Complete pre-and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation
- Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and most efficient routes
- As needed, support wash cycle activities, including cup sorting, washing, buffing, inspections, packing cases, and order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized box truck.
Key Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience operating a box truck or equivalent vehicle (professional experience preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (commercial driver’s license preferred).
- Ability to drive for extended periods in all weather.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Physically able to push, lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Experience operating a pallet jack.
- Proficient using GPS and other routing systems.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Self-starter who works well independently.
- Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work weekends and holidays.

Operations Lead & Driver: San Francisco Bay Area, CA
In this role you will be the technician responsible for a range of responsibilities that keep the workflow on the harvest side of the operations. You are the next step after the driver collects the cups. You will need to be trained and proficient in recovering cups from the venues and events, sorting them, racking them, and washing them.
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather the cups from venues and shows
- A critical step in reusing cups is to sort through the cups, other recyclables, and trash.
- Making sure to separate and recycle glass and plastic fits our mission statement.
- Racking cups in full trays and keeping like cups together is crucial to expedite both the inspection and inventory processes. For example, keep all 16oz clears in full racks of 25 and only 16oz clears in the stack. The same with 16oz white, 12oz no band ETC.
- Push cups through the washer.
- Work with the water spider to wash cups. Typically, we would keep the breakdown team handling the dirty cups and the inspection team handling clean cups. This means you would push racks into the washer. While maintaining the breakdown process.
- This means building up racks from a show. Then send one person to wash cups until caught up and return to break down. Some days the wash cycle will be handled solely by the breakdown team if we need to focus on inspecting cups.
- Projects that keep the process moving
- Maintain the warehouse area. Housekeeping, cleaning up the area daily, and helping move pallets of inventory are all needed to keep the process moving.
- Fill in as needed
- Some days, days you will be asked to handle 100% of the washing of cups.
- Some days you will need to fill in as a driver or as an inspector depending on qualifications.

- Wash and sanitize cups to ensure a steady supply of clean cups
- Operate the commercial dishwasher and stack cups to dry
- Stack and pack clean cups into bins for delivery to customers
- Maintaining an accurate count of cups received from venues, those in inventory storage, and cups packed for delivery to customers
- Ensuring all equipment are working properly and report any concerns to Manager
- Ensure all supplies needed are on-hand and in full supply
- Accompany Manager on deliveries and pickups to venues
- Taking garbage, recycling, and composting to dumpster area
- Clean and sanitize floors, equipment, and work areas at the end of each day
