r.World is seeking an experienced, hands-on sales professional with a hunter mentality who thrives in a dynamic start-up environment. Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Account Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities; launching new venues and sales verticals, and building and maintaining a robust pipeline. This role requires a proactive, creative trailblazer with proven success and examples of contracts negotiated and closed.

This position will be based in D.C. working remotely but with local travel for customer meetings. There is potential for national travel for trade shows or other company/industry events, less than 5%.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive the consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Own the end-to-end proposal and deal close process
  • Identify, qualify and close sales opportunities to meet quota
  • Build and manage a pipeline that supports sales growth goals
  • Develop viewpoints and strategies to help drive excitement and interest in our services
  • Monitor and report the status of activity, including lead and pipeline management
  • Perform and report on marketplace and industry analyses with the goal of identifying opportunities for continued differentiation
  • Visit clients and potential clients to promote product and services
  • Manage and maintain activities and pipeline in the company’s CRM system
  • Contribute customer input and market trend info to the executive and marketing teams
  • Operate with autonomy and handle the ambiguity of a rapidly evolving workplace
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of BD and Sales experience in a startup environment
  • Extraordinary drive and strategic skills (must be able to identify and nurture the unique opportunities)
  • Track record of exceeding quota
  • Experience working with/selling to the food/beverage service operations primarily in the live events industry (music and sports)
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced cultureFlexibility to work outside of

Director of Operations: San Francisco, CA

We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, dependable, and hands-on Operations Director to lead the Bay Area wash hub. This leader will oversee the hub team and be responsible for all operational aspects to ensure the seamless execution of the r.World reuse program. This role is ideal for a leader who is a self-starter, self-motivated, comfortable in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment and has an appetite for self-growth and continuous improvement. The Operations Director will report to the Regional Operations Leader.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations focusing on inventory management, wash-cycle productivity, staffing coverage, delivery and pickup logistics, scheduled maintenance of equipment and trucks, and all hub administrative activities.
  • Forecast venue demand based on upcoming events and develop daily plans to ensure a steady supply of sanitized cups is available.
  • Maintain accurate records of cup inventory to support customer invoicing.
  • Performs all aspects of team management, including hiring, training, scheduling, annual performance reviews, coaching, and implementing corrective action plans for employees.
  • Cultivate a cohesive and collaborative environment based on trust, empowerment, and accountability.
  • Represent r.World in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
  • Monitor, analyze, and deliver wash hub KPIs and financial goals.

Key Qualifications:
  • Highly motivated individual with 5+ years of management experience in the manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution industries.
  • Experience operating a box truck with a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams, manage a multi-phase workflow, and provide clear direction of what is required.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks and meet competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (preferred)

Operations Delivery Driver: San Francisco, CA

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and safety-conscious Operations Delivery Driver to join our team. This role will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for washing, delivery, and collection of cups. This role will use r.World’s 16ft box truck and its hydraulic liftgate to pick up and transport reusable cups and serve ware between r.World’s wash hub and our customers’ facilities.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform order deliveries and collections using company box trucks; log time and miles, refuel and clean vehicle, regularly inspect trucks, and report road incidents.
  • Load and unload cups into the truck, customer venues, and wash hub.
  • Work closely with the Operations Director to execute daily delivery and pickup plans.
  • Represent r.World in a professional manner when client interactions are required.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations
  • Complete pre-and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and most efficient routes
  • As needed, support wash cycle activities, including cup sorting, washing, buffing, inspections, packing cases, and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized box truck.
Key Qualifications:
  • 2+ years’ experience operating a box truck or equivalent vehicle (professional experience preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (commercial driver’s license preferred)
